The problem we're working on
People aren't isolated because good communities don't exist. London has thousands of run clubs, yoga studios, and supper clubs. They're isolated because there's no reliable way to find the right one. Discovery still happens through word of mouth, buried Instagram posts, and luck.
Joyna is the routing layer that fixes that. Tell us what you're looking for. We'll listen, ask a couple of warm questions, and point you to the community most likely to feel like home.
How it works
- Tell us what you're after. A friend group? A weekly habit? Something quiet on a Saturday? We'll ask one or two warm questions to fill in the picture.
- We search a curated map of London communities. Joyna pulls from Eventbrite, Meetup, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok and venue feeds — the formal ticketed events and the small-organiser posts that don't make it onto the big platforms.
- You get 2–3 recommendations. Each with a one-sentence reason it suits you, and a click-through to the host's page. We never invent events; if we can't find a great match, we say so honestly.
What we're not
We're not a directory. Directories show everything and match you to nothing. We're not a social app — there's no feed, no profile to maintain, no follower count. We're a routing layer: a single conversation, a few good matches, then we get out of your way.
London first
We're focused on London (inside the M25) for now. Other cities come later. If you host a community in London and we're not showing your event, email us at hello@joyna.community and we'll add you.
